Country Day’s pre-kindergarten through 12th grade model is unique to the Sacramento area, and the multi-age student body generates a positive sense of family and community on campus. Students spend their days in a comfortable, protected environment with separate areas for each division of the school. The entire student body comes together regularly for all-school assemblies and pep rallies, and an established buddy system links different grades together for curriculum sharing and mentorship.
A continuity of curriculum and interconnected programs spans the 14 grade levels. With a powerful project-based curriculum, hands-on projects guide students in how to think critically, how to problem-solve, and how to work collaboratively with their peers, all skills that will serve them admirably in college and beyond. Guided by outstanding faculty who love to teach and mentor, there are no limits to what each child can experience at Country Day.
Our alumni tell us that Country Day was a life-changing experience for them. The intellectual, ethical, and leadership qualities that we instill in our students, and our emphasis on global education, prepares them well for the 21st century world awaiting them upon graduation. We provide ample opportunities for our students to experience personal growth, exploration, and reflection, and our engaging, inspiring teachers readily encourage, challenge, and nurture each student to reach his or her full potential.
