Middle School
We nurture and celebrate the child inside our students while developing their maturity and essential life skills of self-confidence, creativity, character, and self-reflection.
Middle School at Country Day is a student-centered, interactive program that empowers students to develop their academic, athletic, and extra-curricular interests in a small class setting.
We prioritize the importance of learning through experience and incorporate that philosophy throughout the curriculum. Students and teachers take advantage of our classrooms, labs, and outdoor spaces to conduct experiments and incorporate movement into classes.
Students understand where they are in their learning journey, and develop key skills to ensure High School success, habits of mind, and a noticeable confidence.
We'd love to share more with your family about specific interests and questions. Inquire today and our team will reach out with more information.

A Day in the Life

Our no-cut athletic program includes volleyball, basketball, cross-country, soccer, track and field, golf, and flag football, and competes in the Parochial Athletic League.

Our Middle School program honors the importance of choice in the learning process. Our electives are unparalleled in variety and allow students the opportunity to choose two elective courses per quarter to help inform their individual journey of discovery. Electives range across a vast array of areas to meet students where they are most interested to develop themselves.

Middle School takes experiential learning far beyond campus in our interdisciplinary overnight trips by exploring the wonders of our beautiful state of California as naturalists and archaeologists in the coastal Redwoods, the majestic Sierras, and the waters of Catalina Island.
