Electives

Paramount to the Middle School experience is the opportunity for students to explore their interests and find new passions through the elective system and after-school club choices.

Students select two electives per quarter from a wide variety of choices, allowing exposure to more interesting topics and exploration of a plethora of interests over the course of a year. Most courses are offered by quarter; however drama and art courses are offered by semester and band and orchestra are a full-year commitment.

Featured Electives

Art Studio

Students use the elements of design - color, line, shape, value, and texture - to explore and create “Prints and Paint,” which may include the addition of other art media and collages.
