Academic Support

A classroom setting with a teacher and two students, one standing at a whiteboard and the other seated at a desk, engaged in an educational activity.

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) supports students in Grades 6-12 to help ensure individual student needs are met by meeting individually or in small groups to provide academic support, teach executive functioning skills, and learn to advocate for their needs.

Our Middle School and High School students with individualized learning plans receive academic and social/emotional support from the Student Support Team which includes, the Learning Specialist, Counselor, Dean of Students, and Middle and High School Division Heads.

The ARC also works closely with teachers and parents to make reasonable accommodations for diagnosed learning differences. The Learning Specialist also serves as the liaison between the school and any outside resources needed to support a student's growth and development.
