Pre-K Extended Care

Welcome to the Pre-K Extended Care Program

Country Day's Pre-K Extended Care program provides a fun, lively and safe atmosphere for continued play and learning outside of the formal school day. Within the familiar pre-kindergarten space, our youngest students are separate from other grades and supervised by faculty with whom they engage during regular school hours. Pre-kindergarten spaces include a sizable enclosed outdoor play area and classrooms that allow for a range of activities and weather conditions.

Morning snack in pre-kindergarten is provided by school, and students participating in the after-school session of Extended Care are asked to pack an afternoon snack.

Before school extended day: 7:30-8:00am (by appointment)
- Pre-kindergarten school day hours: 8:45am- 2:45pm
After school extended day: 2:45-6:00pm (by appointment)
- Students who do not stay after school are escorted to the car line for pick-up.

*Please note that Pre-K Extended Care will be closed during all school holidays and closures. Please refer to the 2025/26 Holiday Calendar.

Plan 1

Plan 2

Plan 2 requires families to register in advance and pay for five hours a week for a four-week session to reserve their child's spot in the program. The average cost is $280 for the four-week session and any additional time over five hours a week will be charged an hourly rate of $14.00/hour.

Total billing will be based on usage. Hourly charges will be billed in half-hour increments. It is best to select this plan if your child's pick-up time will vary daily.

Plan 3

Plan 4

Plan 4 requires families to register in advance and pay for five hours a week for the entire 2024-2025 school year to reserve their child's spot in the program. The average cost is $280 for the four-week session and any additional time over five hours a week will be charged an hourly rate of $14.00/hour.

Based on dismissal times, families will pay $2226 for Pre-K.

It is best to select this plan if your child will use a minimum of five hours a week for the entire school year. Total billing will be based on usage. Hourly charges will be billed in half-hour increments.
