Ingrid is a Sacramento native, earning her BA in Mass Communications at UC Berkeley and her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and Strategic Management at UC Davis. Her career in the field of communications and brand management has crossed over many industries including government, pharmaceuticals, grocery, high-tech, wine, non-profit organizations, and the arts. Ingrid served on local arts boards including the Center for Contemporary Arts, Sacramento and Friends of SMAC, and she co-founded Art Jam, a benefit event for arts education. She co-owns a successful art business with husband, Marc Foster, an awarded local sculptor and functional artist, and is a devoted mother to her children, Harlan (12) and Graeme (9).
