Country Day Summer

Overview

Where Summer Comes Alive

Country Day's dynamic summer program is comprised of our parallel Camp Cavalier and Cavalier Academy classes. Between these two offerings, academic, athletic, and arts opportunities are available to students entering Kindergarten through Grade 12.

In our Camp Cavalier program, choose from morning, afternoon or full-day sessions. This program is great as a stand-alone and includes field trips, plenty of outdoor play, and engaging crafts and projects as well as character-building and bonding through our age-based camp groups. Though it is a robust program on its own, many families enroll their children in both Camp Cavalier & Cavalier Academy.

Cavalier Academy is a series of morning and afternoon classes ranging from art and archaeology to makerspace, science, and sports. Classes meet for one or two weeks.

The 2020 Country Day Summer Program has been cancelled due to COVID-19.  In lieu of our traditional summer program, Country Day is offering a selection of online summer classes for to both currently enrolled families and the public.

Registration is now open for Country Day families and available on CavNET. Class registration will open to the public on June 12 and registration information will be posted soon. Please see the list of available online classes here

Country Day Summer 2021
Updated May 8, 2020

Thank you for expressing interest in our 2020 Country Day Summer Program.

We know that Country Day Summer holds a special place in many hearts and is something our camp counselors, summer teachers, students, and families from all over Sacramento look forward to each year.

While we are not able to host our traditional program from June 15-July 31, 2020, we are offering a selection of online classes in July 2020 and we invite families to follow our Facebook page where we will share fun activities and videos from our Camp Counselors. Thank you for your continued understanding as we all adjust to the ever changing landscape of COVID-19. We hope to see you in person next summer!
