Grace L. Wins at National Plant Science

Grace L. ‘28 is actively involved in 4H and placed first in the State last spring in the 4H annual plant science contest. Because she placed first, she was invited to be part of the California team for the National Junior Horticultural Association's National Plant Science Contest.

In October, she went to Baltimore to compete in the national competition, which included plant identification, knowledge, and horticultural judging. She placed third in the country in the senior division, and her California team placed first. Well done, Grace!
