2026 National Merit Scholarship Program

Many of our Class of 2026 high school students have been recognized by the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended students include: Rehan A., Annabelle D., Daniel H., Jaq H., Rebecca L., and Andrew L. About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise, placing among the top 50,000 students who took the PSAT last year. 

Sammy M. moves on in the competition as a Semifinalist. This group of 16,000 students across the nation have the opportunity to continue in the competition for one of 6,930 National Merit Scholarships with nearly $26 million offered next spring. About 95% of the Semifinalists are expected to make it to attain Finalist standing, and approximately half of the Finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.
