We’re proud to share that several members of The Medallion, our high school yearbook team, have earned regional recognition from the Journalism Education Association of Northern California (JEANC)in their Annual Contest. With nearly 1,000 entries submitted from 38 schools, this is a tremendous honor and a testament to the talent and dedication of our student journalists.

  • Claire Gemmell '26 & Patrick Tse '28 received Honorable Mention in the Student Life category for their engaging spread, “Chalk It Up.”
  • Simran Datta '28 & Ferishta Halim '26 earned Honorable Mention for “Through the Books,” a beautifully crafted academic spread set in the Lower School library.
  • Chloe Zhang '26 took Second Place in the Academic Spread category for “Growing Moments,” highlighting learning in our Lower School garden.
  • Cezar Abou Zaki '25 earned Honorable Mention for a compelling sports photo

Congratulations also to Kevin Liu ‘25  from The Medallion staff for being awarded an Honorable Mention in Walsworth's annual photo contest for Yearbooks! His incredible photo celebrates our Seniors as they stormed the Capture the Flag field at Ancil Hoffman last September.
