Making a Difference in Washington DC

Making a Difference in Washington DC

As part of the Teens Speak Up! & Public Policy Institute (TSU), one of the Epilepsy Foundation of America's signature advocacy initiatives, Ana B. ‘27 attended the biennial conference in Washington DC.

This event brought together teens living with epilepsy, family members, local Epilepsy Foundation office staff, healthcare providers, and volunteers from across the country to make a difference for their epilepsy community. Teens like Ana went to Washington DC to receive advocacy training and meet with their lawmakers to share their experiences and discuss issues that are vital to the epilepsy community.

Congratulations to Ana, as she works to make a difference!
