Ava E. ‘25 presented at the Sacramento State Natural Sciences & Mathematics Student Research Symposium. The title of the poster was "Exploring Cellular Variability in the Leech Nervous System" and was presented along with Dr. Michael Wright and 2 other Sac State undergrads. This opportunity stemmed from her research internship with Science Department Chair, Dr. Kellie Whited.
Saheb G. ‘25 recently spoke on a panel for the Child Mind Institute about “Beyond the Hype: Centering Youth Voices in the Smartphone Debate.” As a founder of the Center for Youth and AI, a research and advocacy organization founded by young people for young people, Saheb represented his work there, as well as the positive policy changes he has experienced here at Country Day. The Center’s work was also recently profiled in TIME magazine.
