Science in Action with Deep Sea Cups

When our core values of Critical Thinking and Creativity come together, it's always amazing for our students. Recently, Lower School students decorated and sent cups to the bottom of the ocean! Dr. Guilderson, an ocean scientist, arranged for over 45 cups to be transported 1,000 meters deep by tagging along on a water sampler on an ocean health survey expedition about 100 miles off the Oregon Coast. Soon you can stop by our Lower School science display case to see our pressure-squashed cups per grade level.
