Four high school students spent last week in St. Louis, joining 2000 other independent school students for the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference.
Using the famed Gateway Arch and the geography of St. Louis as a metaphor, the conference theme was "Gateways to Freedom: A Confluence of Truth, Knowledge, Joy, and Power," and our students explored issues of belonging, inclusivity, and equity through keynote speakers, classroom workshops, and affinity groups.
