Our Country Day middle and high school choirs performed “Lights” by Ellie Goulding with the Sacramento Pop Choir (conductor Heather Waid) during the Light it Up Event at McClatchy High School on Saturday, March 9. Choir Director Kami Davis was joined by Pablo Morales, our campus Tech Support Assistant, and Indalecio Valentin, our new Spanish Substitute Teacher in the Lower School and former cast member in the Broadway tour of CATS! Pop music was the theme of third quarter studies for our choir, and this event was the culmination of those studies as they prepare to move into jazz.
