Andrew Logan ‘26 was invited to attend the National Junior Horticultural Association annual convention after he placed first in the CA state competition in May. He studied with his team and coach over the past several months and recently went to Michigan as part of the CA team. He competed in the plant science identification, judging, and knowledge competition. Andrew was a superstar and placed #1 in the United States in the senior division, and his California team placed second!
His family attributes his success to the Country Day study skills that really helped him retain so much information and the ability to do well under a lot of pressure in the competition. Congratulations Andrew!
