CSUS Intern Updates

Exciting CSUS intern update! During her botany internship this year, Mia Crowder ‘24 worked to propagate a new hybrid orchid species that she named “Mia Lin’s Aura” on the Royal Horticultural Society’s International Orchid Registry. Her first flower just bloomed this week. Congratulations, Mia - what an exciting graduation present!

Harper Livesey ‘24 interned in the CSUS vivarium this year. Her special project was to design a habitat for Mr. Pickles, the African bullfrog. She finished it this week, and based on Mr. Pickles’ smile, I’d say he likes it!
