Overview

Welcome to Country Day

We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about our school!

Sacramento Country Day is an independent, coeducational school providing a dynamic, holistic and academically challenging environment for students in Prekindergarten through Grade Twelve. Nestled in the picturesque Sierra Oaks neighborhood of California's state capital, Sacramento, our spacious campus is an educational home to 465 students who hail from more than fifteen different communities in our region as well as many cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. We hope that exploring our website will give you a glimpse of all that draws this diverse array of families to Country Day.

At Country Day, we appreciate each child’s unique character. Our innovative and experienced faculty are eager to learn what makes each student “tick” and get to know them well and our low student-to-teacher ratio allows them to do just that.

Whether your child is interested in robotics or basketball, loves to get lost in a good book or bask in the spotlight on stage, Country Day provides every student with the tools, experiences and mentorship they need to dig deep, reach far and realize their unique potential.

The very best way to truly get to know Country Day is to visit campus. We welcome you to schedule a tour and join us for an admission event. Come see for yourself how our students shine as they think critically, live creatively, and act compassionately, each and every day.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Hadley Keefe
