Pamela Baron ‘01

Pamela Baron dedicates her time to translating the world around her through art making. When she is not making watercolors do her bidding, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, nurturing her love of blowing glass, and finding weird things in vintage shops. Pamela Baron is based in Oakland, CA. She shows in a variety of local galleries and holds a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Parker Murray ‘10

Parker has a degree in industrial design from Swarthmore College. His designs focus on products for every day use, and he especially enjoys designing with light.

The piece shown here was made by Parker in his last semester at Swarthmore. The Blaire Pendant Lamp was hand turned on lathe and is constructed of alabaster, brass, and cotton sheathed electrical cord. To see more of Parker’s designs, visit his website.

Gustavo Galindo ‘00

Singer/Songwriter Gustavo Galindo was born in Mexico City and moved to California at an early age.  He graduated from Sacramento Country Day School in 2000. Not restricted by language or genre, Gustavo writes and performs in both English and Spanish. His sound is a combination of traditional and contemporary Mexican and American styles. In addition to legends such as Enrique Iglesias and Juanes, he has shared the bill with Zoe, Kinky, Gloria Trevi, Ximena SariÒana, Natalia Lafourcade, Ely Guerra, Alejandra Guzm·n, BabasÛnicos, Alex Cuba, Los Amigos Invisibles and more.
