- Spring Toddler Story Hour Series- Our fall series of Story Hours in September and October was well attended and fun, and we’re excited to do it again in the spring. Toddler Story Hour is an event designed for babies and toddlers up to age 4 and their parents/care-givers. Come enjoy listening to stories, singing songs, and learning with our Lower School librarian, Sue Ryan. The Admissions team is on hand to answer questions, and snacks and coffee are available for participants. Dates will be announced in the new year. Join us!
- Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Festival! On September 23, we had a booth at this popular Farm-to-Fork event and welcomed questions from festival attendees. We gave away goodies, promoted our school’s organic garden and farm-to-fork curriculum, and meet event attendees, all while supporting a cause we love.
- High School Preview- It was standing-room-only in the Matthews Library on the evening of October 11 for our annual High School Preview. Visiting students and their parents got a real feel for the Country Day experience as they moved through a ”mini-schedule” of High School classes. The evening ended with a speaking panel.
- Pre-K to Grade 8 Preview- The Pre-K to Grade 8 Preview on December 2 was a morning of exploration and information for parents and students interested in learning more about the Lower and Middle School programs at Country Day. Visitors enjoyed activities, panel discussions, and tours, and got a sense of all that makes the Country Day Lower and Middle School wonderful.
