Parents
Parents’ Association
Every parent with a child enrolled at Country Day is a member of the Parents’ Association (PA). The purpose of the Association is to coordinate volunteer support and provide financial assistance to a variety of school programs and projects. The activities of the Parents’ Association are administered by a Parent Board, which holds regular meetings open to all parents. The officers of the Parent Board are elected at the Annual Meeting in the spring of each year. Other Board members coordinate volunteers for the morning Line Patrol, faculty appreciation events, New Parents’ Welcome, and a host of other school-sponsored activities.
Lower, Middle, and High School Coordinators serve as communication links with their respective divisions, and the PA sponsors a variety of fundraisers each year with the proceeds presented to the Headmaster as part of the Parents’ Association year-end gift to the school.
To contact the Parents Association e-mail pa@saccds.org or call the school at 916.481.8811.

Boosters
Be a Sports Booster and support Country Day’s teams with your financial and volunteer contributions. The Boosters Club raises funds for the Athletic Department through dues, the sale of season passes, snack food sales, and other fundraising activities. Club members and parent volunteers help the Athletic Department with transportation to and from games, awards, events, ticket sales and more. Mixers for Sports Boosters are held where parent fans mingle with the coaches and talk up the upcoming season. Information about the Boosters Club is available in the front office or from the Athletic Director.
The Booster group for Performing Arts provides volunteer support for the theater, art, and music programs at SCDS. Help is needed in varied ways – band boosters may be needed to provide transportation to and from out-of-town band performances and theater supporters may be asked to help behind-the-scenes with productions, staff the intermission snack bar, and more.
